Bridging Innovation and Sustainability: New Executive Programme on Water Management Launched in Tunis

On November 3, 2025, the École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tunis (ENIT) marked a significant milestone in international collaboration with the launch of the Blended Executive Programme (BEP) on Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Water Management. The initiative aims to strengthen ties between Italy and Tunisia in education and innovation, following the framework of the Mattei Plan.

The programme focuses on fostering joint academic and research projects dedicated to innovative water management solutions. The University of Naples Federico II contributes its expertise, with Prof. Salvatore Manfreda acting as the Scientific Coordinator.

Designed as a hands-on, on-site programme, the BEP combines advanced training and research without establishing a permanent campus, showcasing a practical model of targeted international collaboration. By bringing together knowledge, skills, and innovation, this initiative represents a forward-looking partnership between the two nations in addressing one of the most critical global challenges: sustainable water management.
